For the last 12 years, Pisces Moon has embraced theatre as a powerful tool to educate, entertain and ultimately connect human beings. Pisces Moon has presented highly acclaimed and well-attended theatre productions for adults since 1999, an Educational division since 2002, an Outreach Program to LGBT Youth since 2004, and a Young Company, which we formed in 2006. Through SPECTRA (SPECial Teaching Resource in the Arts), we are drama teachers and artists-in-residence in the Santa Cruz County schools, offering courses in theatre arts, drama, playwriting, play production and poetry for performance. Recognizing the power of theater to elevate the human spirit, spark debate and affect change, Pisces Moon Productions, Inc., produces work of visual beauty, historical relevance, social purpose and artistic integrity that aims to promote literacy, equity and diversity.
